Welcome to the dermatology and STI clinic in Östersund!

We are a wonderful team that puts the patient in focus and cares for each other. Our clinic is HBTQ-certified and located at Östersund Hospital. Here you will meet patients of all ages who need specialist care in dermatology and/or venereology. We have a good collaboration with corresponding facilities in the other three northern regions.

You will work alongside doctors, nurses, wound care nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, social workers, and unit managers.

If you are a specialist doctor with an interest in development, this is the workplace for you, as we certainly encourage development.

We are an academic healthcare unit, conducting research and part of the regionalized medical education at Umeå University. Therefore, pedagogical and scientific skills are significant merits. The position includes a responsibility to supervise medical students.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Standard clinic work including referral assessments, consultation assignments, surgical procedures, etc. STI clinic in collaboration with a nurse. Supervision of the clinic's ST doctors and ST doctors during rotation occurs continuously. Individual functional assignments may occur.

The clinic has access to operating rooms, PDT treatment, Bucky, light therapy, and baths.

Medical education is conducted through the regionalized medical education at Umeå University. We have recurring medical candidates that we supervise.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a specialist in dermatology and venereology.

Experience in teledermatoscopy referral assessment is meritorious but not a requirement.

You are positive, structured, and interested in development. Good collaboration skills with colleagues and staff as well as good leadership qualities are highly valued.
